MapsAlive makes it easy to combine your interactive map with HTML that you want to display in a web page. You can add headlines, simple navigation or links, images, text and more without having to create a separate web page to contain your tour.
Add web page content above your tour, below your tour, or even on top of
it! Combine Custom HTML with the JavaScript API to communicate between your interactive map and web page controls like checkboxes. Add your own CSS to style your custom HTML or override the styles used by your tour such as the directory text or hotspot content.
In the example below, the legend and checkboxes were added using the Custom HTML feature. Checking a box shows the states in the given population range. The checkboxes communicate with the map using the JavaScript API.
How do I add Custom HTML to my tour?
Choose in the menu.
You can add CSS, JavaScript, and HTML in the text boxes on the Custom HTML screen.
